What makes me unique
As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) with over 10 years’ experience creating best practices websites, I bring logistic and subject-matter expertise to each project. Doing outstanding work is something I take personal pride in, but the most important (and satisfying) part of my job is building strong, trusting relationships with clients.
You can rely on me for many things during a website project – among them, I’ll help you make smart decisions and focus on what’s important, inspire calm composure during challenging moments, and be your gatekeeper for all things timeline and budget.
The projects that I love
Every project I’ve been a part of has been enjoyable in its own way. The most exciting firms have a strategic vision and are ambitious about building something great. They do what it takes to execute on content strategy. Creating online content can be really hard work, but it’s the substance of a website.
Seeing a beautiful design take shape is an amazing experience and it literally makes me happy to add usability and accessibility components into a site. These are funny things to have make you happy, but such is the case for a website PM. Managing complex projects (ones with multiple agencies or product integrations) is also something I excel at and find satisfying.
What makes me proud
I’m proud of the work we do for clients and to play a very small role in making the web a more accessible place. I’m proud of some modest (even for a weekend warrior) achievements climbing mountains and smaller rocks, and to support the cause of America’s public lands through the Access Fund, a climbing advocacy group. I’m proud of my backyard vegetable garden and to have wonderful family and friends… who really deserve to be listed first.
