What makes me unique

I have 20+ years of experience with object oriented technologies and web application development. When I started more than 20 years ago, there were very, very, very few women in software development; I really was a pioneer. And there still aren’t enough today. I started with Content Pilot as a consultant more than 10 years ago and joined the team fulltime in 2017.

The projects that I love

I love any projects that have some challenge to them – here are a few: a requirement to develop a new feature, work on changes to improve performance, fix a problem that is hard to figure out or work on a project component that is brand new to me.

What makes me proud

At work, I am always proud when I hear that a client was happy with the work we delivered and/or a project was finished on time and with no problems. At home, I am proud of my two children who are both amazing (of course!) and a wonderful inspiration to me. I admire their young energy and drive with which they tackle their challenges.

I am also on the board for the Team Texas Rock Climbing Foundation, which supports a youth climbing team where both my kids compete. My daughter, Jessica, represented the USA at the 2017 Youth Climbing World Championships in Innsbruck, Austria and finished 18th in her age group in Sport Climbing.
