Lawyers Associated Worldwide

Lawyers Associated Worldwide (LAW) is a global network of almost 100 B2B law firms in 179 jurisdictions. Consisting of more than 4,000 lawyers, LAW member firms enthusiastically collaborate with other colleagues around the world to serve their clients’ sophisticated needs. LAW’s network is designed around actively engaging with each other, unlike certain other law firm alliances and networks, where participation among members may be more reactive and passive.  

Lorri Salyards, CEO of LAW, has been a strategy and website three-time client of Content Pilot since 2012 when she served as the Executive Director of two law firms in Oklahoma and Colorado. Content Pilot CEO, Deborah McMurray, spoke at LAW’s 2019 Americas Regional Meeting in Chicago one year ago. It was then that the conversations around LAW’s needs for a higher-functioning website started. 

Because member firms are chosen for their willingness to actively collaborate and refer business, a powerful, easily accessible and manageable referrals database was central to the planning and functionality for this project. The design had already been mostly completed, so our engagement focused on execution, project management and development. We worked closely with Lorri and LAW technology advisor, Scott Carr. 

Lorri stated, “The mid-March 2020 launch of this cooperative website was very timely as COVID-19 and shelter in place orders restricted travel to our always-well-attended regional meetings around the world. While members so enjoy each other’s face-to-face company, our new website has ensured that firm-to-firm referrals have not been hampered.”
